Blog
Today i blogging about a book I'm reading and its called Left Behind. Its a very good and interesting book so far i mean I'm not that far and its pretty long of a book. First, its about how every christian on earth gets taken by god into heaven and everyone else is left on earth for 7 more years until god comes back and takes the people who turned into christians, and then makes a new earth for him and his people. But, its not all good for the people stuck on earth, as the years go on it will get worse, and i mean much worse. But, these few couple people which the story is most about, will realize that this is no terrorist attack its actually god doing this and they will stay strong together and try to be brave. Since now they believe in god and they will try to get other people to celebating his love. So, im really excited to read more and then after im done reading it, i can watch the movie that got very high ratings!!!

I read an article all about easter and why its celebrated and such. The article is called, All About Easter(Pascha). Easter as it is know or Pascha as it is sometimes called, is a fairly popular holiday that we celebrate and there is a lot to know about this Holiday. Easter is the feast celebrating Jesus's resurrection from the dead and it is the greatest and oldest feast at the church. Some of the many symbols of easter include the lamb(Christ as a lamb), Lilly as the symbol of the resurrection, empty cross, colored eggs, and a easter bunny for the kids. And some traditions are the bells for celebration, eating lamb on easter dinner, and lighting the paschal candles. I thought easter was a good Holiday to write about because its coming soon!

Blog #6 Hope
I found a decent poem about hope and i would like to talk about it. And i think what i got from this poem is that this girl is imagining what it would be like to be a bird and have the hope to fly and be free. Like, she describes in the poem, "the sun rises on each new day bringing new options and greater opportunities to spread my wings and fly". I think she wrote wonderfully and really has the imagination to become a bird and fly. Hope as it grows gives rise to courage leading the hoper to new possibilities.

I read an article about the religion, Judaism. The article was titled, Description of Judaism and it was all about the religion of Judaism and more. Jews have many beliefs and many of their beliefs are similar to the Christians. Like, the both believe in god and Jesus Christ. But, they only believe in the old testament where Christians believe in the old and new testament. So, the Jews dont believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. They also use the Torah a book of spiritual writings that they have strong beliefs for and use.

Facing A Difficulty
I read an article about how these students are facing a difficulty in Canada. Canadian students are facing a increasingly difficult time funding their education as the ongoing financial crisis which makes credit and financial aid in the form of pre-approved credit cards, bursaries and scholarships increasingly difficult to come by. So, there will be fewer additional funds available to students through the economic crisis. Which pretty much stinks for them.

Blog about Natural Disaster
This article that i read had to do with a natural disaster. I got the article from Science Daily.com entitled Sumatra Earthquake Three Times Larger Than Origional Thought. The earthquake set off a deadly tsunami throught the Indian Ocean. The article was about how a Northwestern University seismologists have determined that the sumatra earthquake on Dec. 26 was three times larger than there origional thought. Which makes it the second largest earthquake ever instrumently recorded. I think that it is amazing how some stroms can be so agressive, huge, and worst of all destructive and dangerous.

For this outside reading I read an article about a 70 year old woman giving birth to her first child. The baby girl was born on Tuesday and is said to be in good condition. The records are unsure if she is the oldest woman to give birth because there is no proof that she is. Only her doctor said she was 70 and her husband was 72. After they're 55 years of marriage and trying to have a child, finally they succeed. They went through the in vitro process and that worked and now have a little baby girl.

I read an article about a mother who allegedly made a fake myspace of a boy named Josh, to see if Sarah Drew, her daughter's friend Megan, had been spreading mean rumors about her daughter. After trying to get back at Megan, Sarah Drew's mother proceeded with telling Megan to kill herself and that the world would be better off without her. Soon after, Megan was found hanging in her room with a belt and died the next day. This is the first cyber-bullying trial for the nation. Instead of being blamed for Megan's suicide, the mother is only being charged for violating the myspace terms of service.
